This is a very thorough course that gives the student the ability to communicate to a group effectively. It includes data on communication and communication drills from the works of L. Ron Hubbard. The student learns and practices different styles of presentation, such as "extempore," "impromptu" and "exact-word style" and records himself making these presentations for critiquing. The student also listens or watches recorded speeches by other known public speakers. Also covered in the course is how to use the thesis method to prepare and write logical speeches, as well as the use of visual aids in public speaking. |
